Romantic Couples Session in Colonie, NY

Gio and Nikki reached out to me to participate in a Couples Model Call I had posted to get more experience and work for my portfolio before busy season. They had been together for 9 years and the last time they had photos professionally taken was on their wedding day. Needless to say, they were a little nervous to be in front of my camera, but we had a great time together.

I love getting to know how my couples met, learning about a funny memory they share; things like that help break the ice and makes them forget there's a camera there.

I mean, just look at them.

Every laugh, stolen kiss, and prompt or creative direction just led us to more amazing photos. The way he looked at her, admired her, and made her laugh is the type of love you wish to experience in your lifetime.

I kept things pretty casual with my creative direction. One of my favorite prompts to use with couples is the Airplane. I typically ask "you're familiar with Titanic?" and that usually dissolves any awkwardness when it comes to them figuring out what to do with their arms and hands.
